Home Leave Finally

Finally after 10 months of being here we got to go home as a family. Randy hadn't been back to the States since we arrived here in November. This was the first time he got to fly with Ethan. He now knows what I deal with flying with him and he said he couldn't fly by himself with him. Ethan did pretty good on the flight but we did buy him a portable dvd player for the flight back which worked out very well. We spent two weeks visiting with our family and friends, and enjoyed eating as much American food as possible. We were craving steak so decided to go to outback but we were disappointed. I think we set our expectations to high. Then we had Mexican and it was so good. Yummy. We got to enjoy rides on our Harley, which Randy missed very much. My parents have a pool so we spent lots of time in the pool. The weather was warm but we had a lot of rain while we were home. I also spent a lot of time shopping for winter clothes and food to bring back. My sister is getting married next October so we spent a day going wedding shopping and she found a wedding dress that looked very nice on her.

We were able to go to Columbus for a couple of days. We were very busy looking for land and a home builder. Luckily we did find both. We are having a few problems with the land but I believe we have that worked out. If not then we start the land search all over again. We fell in love with a home we want to build and can't wait for them to get started. If all goes well we will have a house to move back into when we return to Ohio in May. Also while in Columbus we got to spend time with friends which was very nice.

Our two weeks went by very fast and we didn't want to leave. Ethan and I will be back for the whole month of December and Randy will get to come home for two weeks at Christmas. We have 8 months to go before we return home for good and I am sure it will go by fast. We still have many more trips that we will be taking. So look for more updates for our trips to Kyoto and Disneyland (which I am so excited about, I never got to go as a kid).
