1st Christmas in Japan

Our First Christmas in Japan:
The weeks until Christmas were very busy. We did lots of shopping. You can find about anything you are looking for here. Randy got a watch and some other small things for Christmas. Ethan got me diamond earrings and Randy got me a bike with a baby basket in the front so Ethan can ride with me. It is really cool. I haven’t seen anything like it in the U.S. Everyone rides bikes here all year round. Christmas was good. Both of our families have web cams so we opened gifts with them through that. Most important they could see Ethan for his first Christmas. We sat him down in front of the tree and he dove right for the gifts. He is in the stage where he goes for anything he can get his hands on. He is crawling to so he is into everything. I did make a turkey in our lovely micro-oven thing. It didn’t taste too bad. It was tough and took about 4 hours to cook and I would it say it weighed about 8 pounds. It served its purpose.

Poor Ethan:( He had tonsillitist. I am sick and mommy and daddy put me in this big jacket with my bright red face. Then they laugh at me when I fall over. What horrible parents they are.

Don't I look so innocent and cute. Hey are these my gifts. I don't care I am going for them.

My mommy bike. Ethan can ride in the front basket and I can put my other stuff in the back basket. He can't ride in it until he is 1 which is perfect since I probably won't be riding it until March anyways.

Ballon Event

We had a first adventure the first weekend while in Japan. We went to a hot air balloon festival in Motegi. Motegi is known for their grand prix and F1 race track. We missed the ballons taking off but they did a fire works show once it got dark. There was about 30 hot air ballons. It was really cool. Honda also has a musem called Honda's Collection Hall where we were at and that was neat to see. Some really old types of Honda cars and motorcycles and of course there new ones as well. I think Ethan liked the fireworks or at least he didn't get upset when they went off. It was a good first adventure for us and maybe next year we will get to see them take off.
